Music from My Mailbox

A hot and humid Sunday afternoon seems like a good time to dig through the Licorice Pizza mailbox and see what gems are laying around. If you hear anything you like, follow the links to the respective MySpaces and buy the respective albums.

A couple of programming notes: The Wolfmen are made of Marco Pirroni and Chris Constantinou, both former members of Adam & the Ants. Pirroni also played in Siouxie and the Banshees. The song I posted, “Needle in the Camel’s Eye,” has been getting airplay on Little Steven’s Underground Garage channel on Sirius Satellite Radio. It’s also in rotation at Indie 103.1 in SoCal.

Kunk’s “Public Image LTD” is not a cover of the PiL song of the same name, but it does address the same topic. Either way, it is a good song and I liked it enough to post it for you. Check it out.
